  1. I don’t know why there is a rainbow in the Garden of Eden picture because God did not create rainbows until the time of Noah, after Noah left the ark. I wish people would start studying their Bible’s and getting their facts straight. People trust too much in the word of man and they never look in their Bibles to see if what man says is true. One day, recently, I was sitting in a church and the pastor was throwing out Bible verses – giving his interpretation. Not once did I see anyone trying to actually look up the verses to see if what the pastor was saying is true, and because I do, I knew that what the pastor saying was not exactly correct. From what I could see, everyone just stared forward with grins on their faces. It didn’t even appear that anyone was writing down the verses for future reference. Why does man trust so much in the word of man? Man is not God and man gets things wrong, I don’t care if you are a pastor or not, also I don’t care how learned someone seems in the Bible, people get things wrong. People need to stop trusting so much in the word of man and start comparing it to the Word of God, or how do we know for sure that we are following God’s will?

  2. @ Althea
i get where youre coming from, but god does teach to be trustful of people so i dont think we should always be sceptical of whatever anyone ever says about the bible or anything that comes from the bible. i really dont mean to be rude but i think you overreacted a little bit.

  3. Good Morning :)

I suppose it all depends which Word of God Althea is referring to. The King James version, New American Standard, the Aramaic Version (apparently the language Jesus communicated in).

Which book out of the predominately 66 that are included is more right than the others?

Is Matthew to be adhered to over John? What about Ecclesiastes, the last few paragraphs in his book make the most sense to me.

Do the Dead Sea Scrolls supersede that which is known as the Word of God today?

What about the books they didn’t include?

Or the story of the adulteress whose life Jesus saved from stoning which was never in the original manuscripts.

I have a funny feeling the book has been edited and reworked by man as I do not think God is that confusing.
