Made a friend today or at least took a step…
I was lunching at Starbucks today. They have free WiFi. There was a young man in a wheelchair next to me. I’m always looking for God Spots and I chatted a bit with him. Did you know a motorized wheel chair can go 25 miles. WoW!
.
Communication was difficult, but I discovered he Facebooks and I got his name. I look forward to adding him as a friend on Facebook.I appreciated his positive spirit and willingness to put up with this old man. Yes. I think God was there….

Does God answer prayer? You be the judge.
Likely, you remember this post:
I suggested that God might choose to authenticate His presence and I’d get to blog about it, in the form of a God Spot. There were four people that readers of the blog were going to specifically pray for. John, Steve, Charles and Regina.
Results from John came in today. He had his kidney removed on Tuesday and WALKED out of the hospital Thursday morning, before I could even get there and say, “Hey!” I had promised to visit and give him a hard time for laying down on the job.
I got to the 5th floor and the nurse said, “John was gone.” I didn’t know what to say. Was he gone in a good way or a bad way? John. I hope you are laughing! I had to take at least one jab at you. Ha!
So, John. You just qualified as a God Spot in a big way. Thank you, Jesus!

I’ve got a friend in Jesus
I’ve discovered friends are hard to come by, but friends are not difficult to maintain. That seems a bit odd doesn’t it. I think it true.
A friend is someone you are willing to greatly sacrifice for, but a friend hardly ever asks.
A friend travels life with you and never judges the outcome.
A friend quickly says, “Yes” and then wonders what he volunteered for.
A friend is someone you can trust with your most valuable possessions.
I have few friends, but the ones I do have are more valuable then gold.
How would you describe your friend?
Thank you friends!
