“anonymous” suggests I stop writing and spend more time in Starbucks and less with the homeless…

Starbucks and Homeless:  “Please stop writing stories such as this one. It is insulting to both the subject of the work and the reader because the primary concern is furthering your own narrow world view at the expense of a person who is not need of any further exploitation. Spend a bit more time in Starbucks next time before you wander into the world to deliver such rubbish.” anonymous

It seems the person stumbled across a “God Spot” I encountered at Starbucks during my bus trip to California.    This seems to confirm my previous post of the power of God’s Word.  At least half the advice is good.  I could probaby spend more time in Starbucks, but then I’d be missed at work so I guess not…

Ever wondered what the most powerful Word of all time might be? I’m inclined to think it, “Jesus”.

It is the desire of my heart that God be Lord of my life. Life’s experiences have killed the old man and God is building a new creation in me. I look forward to experiencing the new man God creates in the old vessel known as Archie via "God Spots".

  1. Hi Archie;

    I think your story was a good one, anonymous does not agree.

    The questions I have for anonymous are these:

    Why is it OK for you to write your comment and not for Archie to write the post?

    You read the post, you did not have to.

    This blog is obviously a “Christian” blog, so why did you stop by?

    I did not see anyone harmed, insulted or otherwise degraded in the story, so what is your problem?

    Would you rather Archie write about the sadomasochist torture for hire joints in the major cities, or the effects of drug use and forced prostitution of young girls and boys?

    Archie keep up the work. Even though I do not always agree, you attempt to give a light to the world, there is plenty of darkness within it today.
