I was chatting with a guy this morning out in the parking lot and it got around to the question of whether he had seen God do anything. It seems more and more often people are volunteering how God has made himself real in their lives without me asking.
I hope to get this story right: This guy said in his party days he was waiting in his truck in a parking lot. He was leaving a party and taking the party with him to his house. In the parking lot, somebody came up to him and asked if he wanted to accept Jesus as his savior. He said, “No thanks”. He did not want what the parking lot evangelist had to offer.
He loaded up his friends in his truck and had several vehicles follow him to go to his house. On the way, he realized what he was doing just wasn’t right. He stopped and told his friends to get out of the truck. He drove back to the original parking lot and asked the guy to get in the truck with him and tell him about Jesus.
He accepted Christ as his Savior right there in his truck in a parking lot with the guy he blew off just moments earlier. Now that is a GOD SPOT!
