In my contemplative state this morning, I was blown away with the thought that I am going to live forever. It seems I have heard the term "eternal life" so often that it has lost it's impact or meaning. I was reciting in my mind the verse, "For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son, that whosoever believed in Him should have everlasting life." That is when it hit me. I am going to live forever!
I wonder if you also are sleepily appreciating the gift you received as you live your life? If so, think about it. If you are living your life with Christ, you are going to live forever! It is a story that needs telling. There are people who want to hear. Welcome to the great awakening!

As one that witnesses on a regular basis, it blows my mind how much people reject Jesus and his amazing offer of eternal life. Even though we deserved death, he took the punishment upon him self so that WE may live foever with him. It’s the most amazing love story I’ve ever heard… Many are perishing in hell, and it’s our responsibility to lead the lost to the feet of Jesus in repentence.
In our earthly existence, it is difficult to believe that eternity is already here. Especially if we don’t like this existence. Understanding the temporal desert can help. Thank you
Ozias thank you for stopping by. Eternal life is such an unbelievable concept and then throw in the simplicity of it. WOW! I use to be much more intense about “closing the deal”. It was not fun for either party. I think now, “Hey bud. Want to live forever?” is a great opener and God can close His own deals…
Berna. Thank you for your comment. It is true. Today is the 1st day of the rest of eternity. Even the lost will live forever. Unfortunately, the conditions will much more harsh….
