The news a couple days ago, said how we are having more earthquakes than usual. This goes right along with my thinking that Jesus is coming sooner rather than later. The Bible tells us that as we approach the endtimes. The earth begins to pretty much self distruct. More earth quakes will get you there quicker. I think.
Then of course the news headlines says, “Not more quakes, just more people in quake zones” I get a bit tired of the news being sanitized and the headlines get changed. Here is the truth of the matter…
In the same article with the headline that there are not more quakes is the quote buried:
On average, there are 134 earthquakes a year that have a magnitude between a 6.0 and 6.9, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. This year is off to a fast start with 40 so far — more than in most years for that time period.

I agree with you! I think Jesus is coming back sooner than later. The article you are talking about only mentions the earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, and Turkey. It makes no mention of the earthquakes in Okinawa and Taiwan.
I think the effort to “sanitize” the news is an effort to hide any possible corroborating evidence to the inerrancy of the Bible.
I loathe how news that may authenticate Christian claims usually is swept under rugs while news that refutes or all out ignores Christian claims is thrust into our faces. Case and point: Jerusalem city wall possibly built by Solomon discovered. I hope you have seen this but I’m guessing not.
Hi Heather;
I read that article and it was interesting.
In respect to the inerrency of the bible, it comes down to whether you believe it or not.
For me there is enough evidence out there to cast a whole lot of doubt and for people like yourself and Archie, you choose to believe.
In the end it doesn’t really matter to me. It was said Jesus said love thy neighbor. Which makes good sense if you believe in the inerrency of the bible or not, doesn’t it? 🙂
It is true the human race is fickle in our beliefs. It is also true whether one believes in the inerrency of the Bible or not, does not determine ones eternal destiny.
Somethings are eternally important, somethings are just important and other things are just good blog material. I am grinning, Ich.
Soon the World is going to experience the Rapture, as it’s ushered on the doorstep of humanity.
