One naturally looks upon another’s situation as something bad or sorrowful, if he is changing jobs without another one waiting.
.
It turns out it is something good. I just don’t know what it is yet.Faith is like that.

It is not faith to step out on the water, knowing it is a dried up riverbed. It is faith if your feet are wet and you keep walking. So please be thankful with me, as I wait for God to “tip His hand” so to speak.

Expecting to “draw” to an inside straight flush…

Beth Moore spoke of old testament waiting as anxious expectation. She called it “chiyl” = to twist, whirl, dance, bear, bring forth in anxious expectation.
We have been in that place with no job, but total peace and anxious expectation while awaiting arrival of our first born.
I am thankful with you. Life as a Christ-follower with wet feet is never dull 😉
Lisa
Thank you Lisa! I am glad your “get it”! God bless and keep those feet wet… lol
Hi Archie;
Look at it this way, you have lasted this long and look healthy to me. Your wife and children are health and presumably happy and you live in a nice climate.
Don’t worry about it, smell the roses. Before you know it some slave driver will be cracking a whip over your head, forcing you to work 60 hours a week, commute to who knows where, so you can retire and smell the “roses” in twenty years. 🙂
Michael quit his job at Child Protective one day without a job waiting, and i worked as a counselor…Yah I made $40 bucks and hour but I only worked 4 hours a week! haha Changes the perspective of my hourly wage….
I have no doubt that you are doing what God wants you to do. And if worse comes to worse for you and your bride, you guys can move out east and crash on my couch. We’re always in need of good BEACH ministry.
You will never go hungry and you will never be homeless–
TJ
True. There are worse places to be homeless than a beach in Florida. lol
Dry feet? What are dry feet? God knows what’s going on even if we don’t. He is faithful. Dance on the head of the serpent, Archie!
Thank you for the encouragement Richard. Truly, it is time to dance…
