“Tomorrow, a friend of mine who I have never met will receive a kidney transplant from his wife.”~priest

I have a friend who I have never met "face-to-face".  He writes the blog known as Truth From the Hip and located at: http://truthfromthehip.wordpress.com/.  I encourage you to read it and follow it.  His insight to scripture is mature and inspired.

Richard Glenn is a Jesus Freak in every sense of the word.  He continues to prove his friendship through his writings.  He is a passionate follower of Jesus.  He loves Jesus as deeply as he knows how.  Tomorrow Richard will undergo kidney transplant surgery.  Uniquely, he will receive new life from Christ and a kidney from the bride of his youth.  This is an incredible love story in the making…

As you read this, pray for Richard.  Pray for the perfection of God's healing on his body and the body of his bride.  Pray the surgeon's hands are blessed and used by God.  Pray for peace beyond understanding for them both.

The thought comes to me, it is not too late for God to miraculously heal Richard and bring life back to his defective kidneys.  Richard believes His God is able to heal him if He chooses.  Maybe even as the surgeon contemplates surgery, he will think to check the kidneys one more time and discover a miracle..  Maybe….

God bless you Richard and family!  Keep running the race to win…

It is the desire of my heart that God be Lord of my life. Life’s experiences have killed the old man and God is building a new creation in me. I look forward to experiencing the new man God creates in the old vessel known as Archie via "God Spots".

  1. Mayyou feel God’s presence and his healing hands as the surgery is performed. God’s healing is a miracle how ever He chooses to heal. May your wife be healed as she shares her physical life with you. Our God is great and marvelous and a God of mercy. May God abundantly bless in the days ahead. Archie’s mom.

  2. I pray that the Holy Spirit will be permeating the operating room with His unmistakeable presence. I ask you Father for healing for Rich and Denise in such a way that makes their bond that much stronger for the race ahead. Lord, the word in my mind now is joy. Joy for the blessing the Glenn’s will be to the docs and nurses? or the other way around? Not sure, but it sounds good to me. 🙂

  3. You’re walking out “freely you received, now freely give”. God’s all over this! I’ve pulled a chair up in front of Him just to talk about you guys! Go in peace.

  4. What a blessing you all are. Thank you so much for all your love and prayers. I fully intend to make the devil pay for this. :^)

    Love you all!
    Rich
