Will you have another birthday?
I have a blog friend who recently had a kidney transplant. His wife was the donor. He had a birthday today. I wonder what it is like to not know if you are going to have the next birthday?
It is the desire of my heart that God be Lord of my life. Life’s experiences have killed the old man and God is building a new creation in me. I look forward to experiencing the new man God creates in the old vessel known as Archie via "God Spots".

Kristie Dean In a way, we are all like that. None of us could have another birthday since God’s the only one who knows when our times up. But yeah, I do get what your saying.

Judy Jackson I can say watching my dad die of cancer and flying home to see him for his last Christmas and it was one of the hardest things for all that it concerned expecially for my dad. God is faithful and He always shows up on time and my dad was able to make peace with the Lord while I was struming my guitar and singing silent nigth. God is good all of the time.

Jack Frost When I had a heart attack in ’06 the first papers the drs gave me told me that as a survivor of a first heart attack I needed to be prepared that I was at a 50% risk of a second heart attack in the next year, and that I was unlikely to survive the second one.
I lived in fear and dread for over three years with that hanging over me…and I will tell you this: life is no fun anywhere at any time for any reason with that hanging on your daily thoughts.
Somehow, God has been able to bring a realization that I lived with more belief in the fear and dread than I did in His power to hold me…and that either way, He was the one making the call…not me.

It’s funny that you would mention my birthday, Archie. The main theme of my birthday greetings and cards was, “I’m so glad you are here and able to enjoy another birthday with us.” Having nearly exited to be with Jesus twice all I can say is surely there is more reason He’s kept me here than to just eat more cake! Although I appreciate that, too! Love to all you “God Spot-ters”!
