Happy New Year Friends!

I love this time of year. In a couple of days the new year 2014 will arrive. In a simple tick of the clock, a year will pass and a new fresh year will begin.

Every year, it is like the springtime of life all over again. God provides the opportunity to experience a freshness and new perspective for the future prepared by Him. He helps shove the past behind and springboard you into the future with all its’ wonder and purpose.

It seems all of life has been experienced to shape and mold you into the person God wants to empower for His use in the new year. It was much like this when Jesus walked this earth with His disciples. They experienced life in preparation for a future totally unimaginable. Let’s you and I believe in the unimaginable and look to see how Jesus empowers and brings it about in the new year….

“You can see now how it is written that the Messiah suffers, rises from the dead on the third day, and then a total life- change through the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed in his name to all nations– starting from here, from Jerusalem! You’re the first to hear and see it. You’re the witnesses. What comes next is very important:I am sending what my Father promised to you, so stay here in the city until he arrives, until you’re equipped with power from on high.”~Jesus

You will know it when Jesus equips with power, otherwise wait…

It is the desire of my heart that God be Lord of my life. Life’s experiences have killed the old man and God is building a new creation in me. I look forward to experiencing the new man God creates in the old vessel known as Archie via "God Spots".
